Prof. Dr. med. MPH Wolfgang Hoffmann, MPH, is Managing Director of the Institute of Community Medicine and Head of the Department of Health Care Epidemiology and Community Health of the Institute of Community Medicine, University Medical Center Greifswald. He received his master's degree in public health in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina in 1995. His main areas of expertise are interventional studies in health care epidemiology, epidemiological methods and data management. Among other offices and memberships.
He has been a member of the Gesellschaft für Strahlenschutz (German Society for Radiation Protection) and the Fachverband für Strahlenschutz (German Professional Association for Radiation Protection) for more than 20 years, as well as a member of the Radiation Commission of BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany). He has also been a member of IPPNW Germany for 31 years.
