Member of the expert panel of the epidemiological study on childhood cancer in the vicinity of nuclear power plants: KiKK study (2003-2007). Since 2016, he has been a member of the expert advisory board for the nuclear waste report (Germany) and a member of the German Society for Radiation Protection (Gesellschaft für Strahlenschutz e.V. – GSS) since 2019. He has collaborated with IPPNW (Germany and Switzerland) on radiation risks and with E. Lengfelder (LMU, Munich) and K. Sperling (Charité, Berlin) on thyroid cancer and congenital malformations after Chernobyl. Since 2013 collaboration with the Maltese doctor V. Grech (Mater Dei Hospital), on the topic of secondary sex ratio and radioactivity, and currently on determinants of corona statistics. Since 2015, he has been collaborating with Japanese journalist Fukumoto Masao (Berlin) and Japanese doctors Keiji Hayashi, Kuniyoshi Mori and Hidehiko Yamamoto (Osaka) on the health and genetic consequences of Fukushima.
